Episode 18: Brumby Aircraft

Brumby R600

During the RA-Aus NatFly 2011 event we recorded an interview with Paul Goward of Brumby Aircraft, a family owned Australian LSA aircraft manufacturer. We discuss how their company came to be as well as the two aircraft they make: The R600 low wing and the new R610 high wing. We also ask the big question: Why did they make a high wing when their low wing has been so successful.

Paul also talks to us about the design decisions and the effort involved in producing & certifying the Brumby aircraft. They offer a range of options including engines, instruments and paint schemes allowing people to purchase a very capable aircraft while also supporting local industry.
